Solution to wire breakage related to melting point of molybdenum wire

In wire-cutting process, when using fast-moving wire machine tool, molybdenum wire is one of the indispensable consumables. Many manufacturers react to the phenomenon of wire breakage when using it. In fact, it is very common, and many negligence of operation details will lead to this phenomenon.

In the process of use, the ablation point on the molybdenum wire breaks. In steel wire, there is an ablation point at intervals. It is slightly like a mildew spot, and the ablation point of molybdenum wire can be clearly seen in serious cases. This is caused by the arc drawing between the molybdenum wire and the work piece. For some reason, the arc drawing between point A and point B on the work piece is made. The wire is moving. The arc drawing between point A and point B is getting longer and longer, and point A and point B begin to arc again, so that a regular interval of pits is formed, which greatly reduces the strength of the wire. The main reason for this phenomenon is the unbalanced output of the last stage of the feed system, which can be eliminated by adjusting the feed system.
