In the past few decades, the hot-drawing process has been widely used in wire-cut molybdenum wires in China, which greatly increases the cost of use, because hot-drawn molybdenum wires are prone to wire breakage, and the elongation during processing is high, so it is not easy to maintain constant tension in the process of cutting, so most of them. Moreover, molybdenum wire produced in the past drawing process is not easy to maintain the same accuracy of wire diameter. In order to continuously reduce the cost of wire-cut molybdenum wire processing, now the molybdenum wire processing has been upgraded to cold-drawing processing, but only in large-scale processing plants, will the use of pure cold-drawing process to produce, cold-drawn molybdenum wire tensile strength is higher than hot-drawn molybdenum wire, and elongation is lower, easy to maintain constant tension. The breakage rate of cut wire is greatly reduced in processing, and cold-drawn molybdenum wire is more advantageous in terms of the cost of use and consumption. But now the cold drawing process of molybdenum wire has not been perfect.

In the production of cold-drawn molybdenum wires, the cost is higher than that of hot-drawn molybdenum wires. So we should find a better way to improve it in the future continuous experiments and reduce the cost of molybdenum wires at the same time.
