Notice for Replacement of Wire-cut Molybdenum Wire

The replacement of WEDM molybdenum wire is a technology that every WEDM professionals must master. The quality of wire cutting molybdenum wire replacement is very important to the effect of wire cutting. Everyone knows that regular replacement of WEDM molybdenum wire is conducive to ensuring the accuracy of WEDM products, improving the processing efficiency of WEDM machine tools, and reducing the problem of wire breakage in unmanned state. Now let's briefly talk about the simple technique and operation steps of changing molybdenum wire.
1. Press the stop button of the storage cylinder and disconnect the wire breaking detection switch.
2. Sleeve the screw disc on the upper motor shaft and lock it with nuts.
3. Roll the silk storage barrel to the limit position or keep a distance from the limit position with a rocking handle.
4. Draw one end of wire-cut molybdenum wire on the screw disc around the upper wire intermediate wheel and guide wheel, and fix the wire head on the fastening screw at the end of the storage cylinder;
5. Cut off the excess wire head, turn the storage cylinder clockwise for several turns, then open the upper wire motor switch, and the wire cut molybdenum wire is tightened;
6. Rotate the storage cylinder, winding the filament to a width of 10-15 mm, remove the shake handle, loosen the stop button of the storage cylinder, and adjust the speed control knob to "1" gear.
7. Adjust the left and right stroke block of the storage cylinder and press the opening button of the storage cylinder to start winding.
8. When approaching the limit position, press the stop button of the storage cylinder;
9. Tighten the wire cut molybdenum wire, turn off the upper wire motor, cut off the redundant wire cut molybdenum wire and fix the wire head, semi-automatic wire feeding is completed. If manual filament feeding is adopted, the filament barrel need not be opened, and the filament can be filled by turning the filament barrel at a uniform speed with a shaking handle.
